WHAT IS MTB GAINS?
MTB Gains delivers you weekly strength & conditioning workouts, easily accessible via your mobile or laptop. Increase your speed, stamina and strength on the bike while reducing your chance of injury. Our walkthrough videos make the workouts easy to follow and ensure you use good form throughout.

THE PROGRAMS
XC
Designed around modern XC riders, the program is built around 2 days of full body workouts plus an additional day to focus on strength and stability of the core and shoulders. Often the weak link in the armory of an XC athlete, we strengthen these areas to create a fully balanced athlete that has the strength and muscular endurance in the right muscle groups to compete on any terrain in any conditions. All our workouts have options to scale up or down depending on your experience, goals and ability, making them suitable for all.

THE PROGRAMS
ENDURO/TRAIL
We use a conjugate style approach to allow us to effectively train the many facets an effective rider needs. This allows you to join the program at any time rather than wait in from the start of a ‘cycle’. This approach also tends to keep athletes happier as training doesn’t get stale and includes enough variety to keep them stimulated both physically and mentally.

THE PROGRAMS
DOWNHILL
Downhill is not the same as enduro and that’s why our program is different. The unique demands of a downhill mtb athlete commands a program that is build around the needs of the body. Downhill riders need the strength to ride fast as lightening down some of the most demanding trails, while having the conditioning in the legs and core to sustain multiple high power micro bursts of the pedals. All this while still being able to focus on the terrain and make split second decisions on course lines.

THE PROGRAMS
EBIKE
Regardless of whether you’re new to the sport, life has taken its toll on your fitness, or you just want to maximise every minute you spend on the trails, our eBike program will progress your riding. Most ebike riders are covering a lot more distance than a regular rider. During a ‘standard’ ride most will do double the downhills they achieved on a pedal bike, plus the extra weight of the bike motor & battery means most riders have sore muscles after each ride…………… Not Anymore, our program will address that so you’re no longer feeling like you’re back on the rugby pitch.
Our strength & conditioning programs are designed to benefit riders of all levels, with exercise options for athletes of all abilities allowing you to scale up or down depending on your goals.
